While the final preparations for the pilot collaboration are being made, Jovine visits our partner bonesetters weekly with a doctor from the hospital to create mutual understanding and team spirit. One of our partners, Ambuko, had a patient with a complex fracture and asked for help. So Jovine brought Dr. Biko, as well as our other partner bonesetter Marando. Together they assessed the patient and the X-ray that had already been made, and made a new treatment plan. A brilliant first example of collaboration between doctors and bonesetters, even before our research has formally started! We’ll be keeping a close eye on the patient!
